PINK WATERMELONS

I am excited to say, soccer season is back!

Abby's first game was on Saturday. She scored 7 of the 8 goals her team made. She is such a good soccer player, just like daddy! She has so much fun and I love that she and Jared have this sport in common. He loves to practice with her. He's not the coach this year, which he is sad about but, he's so busy with work I didn't sign him up. Next year babe!

GO PINK WATERMELONS!

OFFICIAL FIRST DAY

So after being caught up in the Twilight series, I am back to reality.

Abby's official first day was on September 2. Her aunt Brooke made her the cutest headband to match the dress she picked out. She was the cutest girl ever! I was so anxious to see her get on the bus but she was so excited and happy. She loves school so much and I couldn't be more grateful.

Abby's in Kindergarten

Well, I survived. I thought I would be a crying wreck and I wasn't. I was pretty sure I was having an anxiety attack but it passed. Monday, Abby got to go for an hour and meet her new teacher and see her classroom and meet new friends. Her BFF Jessica is in another class but, they get to ride the bus to school so they are still happy as ever.
Not sure how I will handle the first day (9/2) of her getting on the bus and going for the afternoon. But, she's excited so I have to put on a smily face.
After I picked her up I took her, Jess and Emma to McDonald's for lunch. Emma thought it would be funny to put her happy meal box on her head. I couldn't resist taking this picture.

ABBY'S GROWING UP TOO FAST!

So school officially starts on August 25th. Abby is starting Kindergarten and I am having serious issues with her growing up so fast. I can't believe how fast time flies by. I never knew I would feel this sad and overwhelmed about my daughter growing up. She is so excited for school which I am grateful for because I know some kids dread it. I am excited for her to but at the same time it's like a little piece of me is missing. She's getting more and more independent which I know is a good thing but, also makes me sad. I know she will make lots of friends and come across new adventures and I look forward to sharing every moment of them with her. I just hope she doesn't grow up too fast. I'm not ready for it. I want her to be a baby again. I can't wait to see her grow into a beautiful young lady but could I just pause time for a few years......That's not asking too much is it?

Love you Abs! You make me so happy and proud! I pray that we will always have a close relationship and that you will always confide in me.

My J-Babe

So today I was thinking, I spend a lot of time writing about my kids and all the fun things we do as a family, but I've never really spent anytime talking about the love of my life. Jared's been really busy working two jobs, providing for our family and this weekend he took a much needed camping trip with his cousin. I guess it's true what they say, you really do miss something and realize how much you love it when its gone.

I realize Jared may never even read this but I wanted to express my love to him. We've been together since High School and we had our "honeymoon" love for the first few years and now we focus so much on our children, I just don't want him to ever forget how I feel.

My love, my friend, my soul mate you are the reason the sun rises and makes me smile everyday. You spend your days thinking of ways to better this family and makes us whole. You would sacrifice your life for me and the girls and for that, I envy you. I am so blessed that my girls wake up each day asking for daddy and go to bed saying goodnight to you. The way they look at you is unexplainable and priceless.

I want you to know that everyday I think about you. I would be lost without you. I can't imagine my life without you by my side. I know I can do anything because you are with me.

My world is a better place because you are in it. I love you J.
