My J-Babe

So today I was thinking, I spend a lot of time writing about my kids and all the fun things we do as a family, but I've never really spent anytime talking about the love of my life. Jared's been really busy working two jobs, providing for our family and this weekend he took a much needed camping trip with his cousin. I guess it's true what they say, you really do miss something and realize how much you love it when its gone.

I realize Jared may never even read this but I wanted to express my love to him. We've been together since High School and we had our "honeymoon" love for the first few years and now we focus so much on our children, I just don't want him to ever forget how I feel.

My love, my friend, my soul mate you are the reason the sun rises and makes me smile everyday. You spend your days thinking of ways to better this family and makes us whole. You would sacrifice your life for me and the girls and for that, I envy you. I am so blessed that my girls wake up each day asking for daddy and go to bed saying goodnight to you. The way they look at you is unexplainable and priceless.

I want you to know that everyday I think about you. I would be lost without you. I can't imagine my life without you by my side. I know I can do anything because you are with me.

My world is a better place because you are in it. I love you J.

FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATION

YEAH, I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE EXACT NAME EITHER. PRETTY MUCH IT'S A DAY TO HAVE AN EXCUSE TO HAVE FREE FOOD FUN AND GAMES. TODAY THE GIRLS AND I AND ONE OF ABBY'S FRIEND'S CHASE, WENT TO NICHOLLS PARK AND HAD SOME FUN. THE TRAIN RIDE WAS THE CUTEST BUT EMMA WOULDN'T GO ON IT. SHE WAS ALL ABOUT THE DUCK POND THOUGH.

SUNDAY AT THE PARK

LAST SUNDAY THE GIRLS AND I WENT TO LAYTON CITY PARK TO PLAY AND FEED THE DUCK'S. I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS ABOUT DUCKS THAT IS SO APPEALING TO KIDS BUT FOR SOME REASON, THEY ARE JUST DRAWN TO THEM. EMMA WAS IN AWE AND LAUGHING AND ABBY LOVED IT. I HAVE TO ADMIT, THE BABY DUCKS WERE PRETTY CUTE!

BEHOLD THE THRONE

Hear ye, Hear ye
My next challenge, or should I say goal, is to get Ms. Emma potty trained in the next few months. Oh the joys of motherhood! Abby was so easy to potty train, she practically did it herself but of course, Emma never does anything the easy way. I'm crossing my fingers it's a smooth ride.

Summer Fun

Here's a few pics of the girls playing outside in our forest of a backyard. Thanks to uncle Chuck, we inherited a doll house and I got the girls a pool to play in on the hot summer days.

ROAD TRIP

So those of you that are married and have children, know that it is quite difficult finding alone time. Well, Jared is working a second job right now since the railroad is slow, driving semis. He got called on the 24th to take a truck load all the way to Nevada. So, he asked me to ride along and we had ourselves a little road trip. It was quite funny at moments when sitting in a semi for over 10 hours total. We found fun ways of entertaining eachother. It was nice to just sit and talk and laugh with eachother.

Jared wanted to get a picture of me driving so I sat behind the wheel for all of five minutes so he could snap a few photos. It was kinda cool driving for a minute though.

And here's a photo of Jared truck drivin'.....yee haaw!

On our way to Winnemucca we had to stop in Wells, Nevada. We stopped in and took a few pictures of old main street where the earthquake was a few months ago.

That night we ended up in Elko, Nevada where we stayed the night at a Super 8 which was great. hahaha. Jared spent three years of his childhood in Elko while his dad worked there for the railroad. He drove me around and showed me his old house, where he used to play soccer and that night we ate dinner at his favorite childhood restaurant. The Pizza Barn. It was way cute.

BEAR LAKE 2008

It's been one vacation after another and I have to say it's been great. The packing and unpacking and laundry get annoying but in the end, it's all worth it! We went to Bear Lake and the weather was great, the kids were in heaven, playing in the sand and water. Which means mommy and daddy got to relax! Yeah!

The three little girls at the condo
Playin' on the Beach!
Emma's favorite thing of all was chasing the seagulls around....Yup she's my odd child.
This is Danelle and I jumping off our little fishing boat. Needless to say the water was cold at first and we were shocked with laughter.

Our trip was not complete because part of our family was missing.....

WE MISSED YOU ANDERSON'S!

4th of July

The 4th of July is probably my 2nd favorite Holiday (next to Christmas). Our little family went up to Brighton to have breakfast and watch the parade. It's been a Nance family tradition for a VERY long time. The kids had a blast and so did I (because it was 10 degrees cooler up there).

After breakfast we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hogge's and went swimming. Emma didn't really enjoy the pool she just played outside on the deck and the cutest thing was seeing her climb in to Tony's kayak. Abby of course swam and swam and swam.

That night we went to Davis High School to watch fireworks. We had the best seats in town! We were right below the fire works. It was beautiful. Emma kept saying "WOW". Abby had her ears plugged for a while then got use to the noise.
