September 2011

September was a busy month, it usually is because of birthdays, school, soccer and this year we got to go to Sun Valley for a whole week. Here are our memorable moments.

My baby girl started Preschool this year at Knowlton Elementary. I was so nervous that she was going to have separation issues and for the first few weeks she did cry and I cried and had to leave quickly after dropping her off but then she got used to the teachers and loves it! She is so smart and having a great time at school. It's amazing how fast they adjust to change and make friends. I'm so proud of her for being brave.

Jared got to coach soccer again this year (his passion in life). The team chose the name Fire & Ice. Abby of course is still doing amazing. The older she gets the better she gets. She is so talented.

Sun Valley is our favorite vacation spot. This year we got to enjoy a full week there. We did a lot of different activities like fishing, hot pots, swimming and walking around town. It was a lot of fun.

 Girls playing in the water
My first lesson on fly fishing.
It was so relaxing and fun, I'm so glad Jared took the time to teach  me.
I actually caught a little fishy to!

This is the giant fish that took Jared walking down the river, we kept it and cooked it up. It was delicious!

Just a bit bigger than mine. Haha

Jared made them hold the spine. It was funny.

While Jared was in the store getting dinner supplies, he got me this.
Still romantic and makes me feel loved.

Relaxing in the beautiful outdoor hot pots.

Outside our condo.

Ski lift that's just decor in town. Next year we want to take a ride on the real deal.

This year for Jared's birthday we got to do some really fun things. First we got to go on a train ride through his work they did a special for the families on the "Operation Safety" train. It was on the 9th which is Jared's and his dads birthday so that was special.  The girls really enjoyed it. I got a little motion sick but it was a beautiful ride.

The best part of Jared's birthday was the gift from his sisters. They got us tickets to join them at the Rascal Flatts concert. It was so much fun, even being sick and tired and pregnant. We had such a great time.

And last but certainly not least, miss Emma turned five!

Beautiful birthday girl.

She got a barbie and spongebob treat from big sister.

So sweet!

Got spoiled by grandma-She got her very own ipod nano.

Had to open presents at bedtime when daddy got home from work.

Tea set. Yah!

Baby girl growing up right before my eyes.

Celebrated with all the Worthington September birthdays.

August 2011

One of the highlights from this month was going fishing with Jared's family up at Silver Lake. It was as always, a lot of fun (even though pregnancy has been keeping me down). We had a nice relaxing time and even got to see a baby moose that was hanging around all day.

Abby also started 3rd grade on August 22nd. I'm so glad I get to be a stay at home mom now so I can enjoy my kids more and I get to spend a lot of time volunteering in the classroom. She is growing up so fast and becoming such a beautiful young lady.

Rock Reunion

Well the first few months of pregnancy were pretty rough, only two weeks into it I got really bad stomach pains and wasn't feeling well at all and actually ended up in the hospital to get checked out. Everything ended up being fine but it was the beginning of a pretty rough pregnancy. The day I went to the ER was actually the Rock family reunion up in Wyoming so after we left the hospital Jared and I drove 2 hours to join the girls who were with the rest of the family. It was a long day but worth the memories.

And then there were 3!

Well after about 9 months of trying, we are finally expecting baby number 3. It's been a long awaited journey, Jared and I decided after I quit work that we could finally try for baby 3 and we have been blessed. I found out on July 13th. I took a pic of the test and sent it to Brooke, because she tried and got pregnant right away in June and I was so excited to finally be pregnant too. Then Jared told his dad and the over the next few days we let the rest of the family know. I took the girls on a treasure hunt to find out the good news. They were ecstatic! We can't wait for the new addition to the family.

4th of July

This year the girls and I went to the Kaysville Parade to see Abby on her cheerleading float. We spent the day with the Vasquez family. It was a lot of fun and really hot. Jared had to work in the morning but he made it home in time to watch fireworks with us. It was a great day!

The girls, Kelley and I also went and visited Ashley up in Park City while she was staying up there for a quick dinner and dip in the pool.
